Just joined, hi to everyone. I’ve been reading these forms for around 5 years with much interest. I’m an ex pro and semi pro player, not playing much these days due to work and travel but that will change in next few years and I plan to be back in a working band again one day. I have 2 Tele’s both are USA Fenders. One is an American Deluxe and the other is an American Standard both 2015. Love them both (but I strongly dislike the N3 pick ups in my Deluxe). My 2 amps are Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and a Marshall JVM 215c which to my ears sound good with teles. I use various pedals..nothing boutique smallish pedalboard with common everyday stuff like MXR, Boss and TC plus a couple of Xotic pedals. I play most styles and I find the teles are great for almost everything I like to play. I have other guitars for different things but the teles get the majority of my play time.

I was fortunate to find the same deluxe body, loaded with Tonerider Classics a few yers ago for £175. I fitted a Mighty Mite v profile neck and love it. Never tried the necks that come with them, how is yours?

Hey welcome! I am really happy you’ll be back in a band soon, and I so agree with you about teles being the best tool for a lot of music!

Both are very nice teles, I like the tuxedo one especially!

Hi to everyone thanks for all these nice welcome messages from all over the world.
That loaded body was a steal for £175 bettyseldest. The neck on mine is lovely and fast, I love it but I could see vintage fans hating it as it’s quite thin but I’ve short fingers so it works good for me. The frets were dressed with a quite flat profile at the factory so it feels like a very well played in guitar. I will get the new pick ups next week but I still travel a lot with my job and it could be weeks before they finally go in. It was either Nocasters or Twang Kings. Very hard to decide just going by reviews and videos. Hope the Emerson 4 way works out too.

It comes as standard with a compound radius neck, which lots of folks rave about, but I've never tried one. I'm guessing that someone bought mine for the neck and sold on the body.

Thanks, that one was one of the last of the previous American Standard series. The shop was selling the stock off when they were end of line at the time, it was a very good deal they had on. Yes I am amazed at how much ground teles can cover.
