Just posting to say Hi to everyone here. I'm a 53 guy who just started playing guitar about 2 1/2 years ago. I just got my first Telecaster, a used MIM, dark red with a maple neck, made in '02 I think. I've always loved that tele sound! I really like how the neck plays on this guitar, very easy and comfortable.

    My other guitars are:
Epiphone Swingster (the Joe Pass Model on steroids) orange
Ibanez ARX 140 (a cross between a SG and PRS) black

    Amps:
    Peavey Delta Blues 115
Peavey Envoy 110 (with Eminence Ragin' Cajun speaker)
Kalamazoo Model 2 (recapped otherwise original)

I play mostly Blues/Country/Rock, mostly clean channel or light distortion.

Hi and welcome to the forum. The Envoy with RC sounds like a useful package, perfect for rehearsing & small gigs I imagine.

    Thanks for the welcome everybody!

@simonsp - I think the Envoy is a very good amp, very good tones, and real spring reverb, and LIGHTWEIGHT! The only drawback is no effects loop, the only pedal I'm really using now is a delay and that just doesn't sound good up front.

I think Peavey is a very under-rated (if thought about at all) company. Which is a good thing here in the states, because everyone wants a Fender, Marshall, Mesa, etc... You can usually pickup used amps for VERY reasonable prices.
