Hi I'm deciding whether I should buy it off this pickup maker. I definitely know that it is fake, but it plays and sound really great! The pickups on this guitar is of superior quality. However I do not know what to think of the other parts of the guitar. I'd love for you guys to share your opinions on this guitar.

What do you guys think?? Should I get it??

No. It's a really strange shape:)

But if it plays well, sounds well and you like it (and it's really really cheap) don't pay the slightest attention to me.

Depends on the price, but I wouldn't go to that - unless it was really, really cheap...

Nothing lines up on it and the neck is well wonky so I dont see how it plays great.
Save your money on this one walk away well no actually run , run as fast as you can and dont look back its fire wood.
Oh and the pickups look awful whatever he's made them out of . Just my opinion.

Poor attempt at humour. Strange compared with the incomparable Tele. That's all.

It's a Stratocaster body with a Telecaster neck.

It's not that it hasn't been done before, but most guitar players find that combination unattractive.

    oatipk,

It's not my cup of tea, but if you like it (and you have played it and know that it sounds great, and stays in tune), then you should have it.

As long as you don't pay more than $70 for it.

If it's a long distance purchase, and it will come to you in the mail, then I say NO.
    In that case, pass.

    :)

If it plays and sounds good, it may be worth buying. What’s he asking for it?

If you have actually played it and you like it get it.
If you agree to the price.
I was thinking about $50 if you love it.
If there is any doubt in any regard in your mind, walk away.

    I personally wouldn't.
I'd even laugh at that as a wall hanging.

    Depends on how cheap.....

$20? Sure, no way to really go wrong.

$100? I'd save my money for something else.

That is NOT a real Fender guitar. In fact, I don't think there are any genuine Fender parts on it. It might play well, but understand what it is that you are buying...

It's a hunk of junk; a poorly made partscaster at best. I'd guess the hardware is worthless. Go find yourself a used Squier or DeArmond for $80 if you're looking for a project.

Yeah, that's a $40 Fender wannabee, at best.

After reading that and seeing that other post deleted, I wonder if this was just a check - what to be changed to make a more realistic fake..??

I always think the Same thing when something so obviously fake shows up
You can never tell if it’s actually someone who is new to guitar and genuinely interested and who is just testing the waters to see what they can get away with

I usually give the benefit of doubt that maybe some people just can’t tell and we all have to start somewhere

But am also sometimes hesitant to share every little detail of what’s wrong with something
