Best practice pedal ever invented and once you get the timing right, great for live. So many other loopers have playback which is lo fi but the looper is one that sounds exactly like your original track. So simple and yet so useful. Now if they would create a ditto that would also store 10 - 5 minute songs, it would be the ultimate live device. I would buy four to get me through a full night of club playing.

    Seriously useful pedal. Enjoy.

It's in the most adorable little box I've ever seen. Srsly. Every time I look at it I think, "aw, how cute!"

Plus, it does some stuff that you'll probably like.

    :)

Not a fan myself. I much prefer other looping options out there. Small and simple it is, but for me that translated into cumbersome and limited.

is the ditto x2 worth it? A dedicated stop is nice but idk if I'd ever use the 1/2 speed or reverse.

Limited? Perhaps. YMMV. Cumbersome? It's about the least cumbersome thing I deal with.

I've got a Boomerang III also, which is definitely a more thorough looping solution, but I figure anyone who wants a Ditto will be happy with its basic functionality. That's why I bought one, for simple purposes...plus I got it pretty cheap, so I couldn't turn it down.

IMHO a dedicated stop is very useful. The 1/2 speed or reverse are nice to have bonus features. As is the option to transfer loops to and from a computer.

If you don't mind the premium price, and even more so the premium in footprint (that Ditto x2 is approx. the size of two std MXR enclosures!) I'd say the x2 is a great unit.
Maybe not up to par featurewise with more professional loopers, but then again spot on for a guitarist not wanting to delve that deep into looping.
    It just works.

A small and simple unit with great sound it is, for practice I use. If the power of ambient looping you seek, for more options you may look.

Love mine (I use it at home only). How I wish I had something like this when I stared playing! Never regretted getting mine for a second.
