Certainly is.. luckily I know next to nothing about Renaissance Art, Opera or Greek mythology so highly unlikely to get murdered round these parts.

Midsommer Murders, filmed 5 to 15 miles away from Oxford has many more murders, though my bass player is still alive despite having been an extra in several episodes.

Welcome, I live in Oxfordshire, though it was part of Berkshire until 1974.

    Welcome to TDPRI.

I spent a lot of time in Oxford, back in 1978. (Took Japanese lessons from an Oxford don while attending my US university's England campus in Taplow, near Maidenhead). Last time I went, in the 90's, it had changed so much I barely recognized anything other than the old colleges themselves. Lots of great memories though.

Nice collection of Teles you got there.

    Thanks All
Yeah I'm actually in Wallingford Bettyseldest, previously the Capital of Berks. We used to have a castle, but Mr Cromwell knocked it down.
I was in the Covered Market last week Guitarteach.. very quiet as you can imagine, tough for traders.

Nvilletele- you must surely remember Station Garage Taplow 'SGT'? In 1978 they were a Lotus, Scimitar, Morgan, Alfa Romeo, MV Agusta, BMW and Kawasaki dealer.. and I was a fresh-faced Apprentice Mechanic.

I grew up near there, in Cheltenham and then the north Cotswolds/Worcestershire border. Some of the prettiest country on earth.

Welcome to the old-men-talking-about-guitars, dogs-and-hot-sauce place!
