Hello all, Been lurking for a few weeks now. Enjoying the posts...seems like a lot of nice people here. Had guitars since I was 10 years old, started classical lessons 3 times but never stuck with it. Guitar has always been a challenge for me, at least compared to piano, unfortunately I didn't stick with that either. Didn't think it was cool when I was 16. Bought my first Fender (MIM Strat) in 1994, played obsessively for awhile...drowning my sorrows after things didn't work out with the girl of my dreams. Then it hung on the wall until I finally sold it to a kid about 3 years ago. Fast forward, another breakup, and I find myself renting a room in somebody's house and with some time on my hands. I wanted to get an acoustic but with roommates I didn't think I would be able to enjoy it much. So electric was not my first choice, but it seemed like with headphones it would be the best option. It has far exceeded my expectations. I'm enjoying guitar more than I ever have...despite my limited ability. Enjoying just trying to learn. So it's been almost a year and I have found out I have a touch of "GAS". I have bought 5 guitars, sold 2, and just ordered my second Tele. A Wildwood thin skin 64 American Vintage. Here are a few quick snaps of the rig so far: Classic Player 50's, EJ, Baja. Blues Junior NOS (rarely plugged in). The Maxon is Analogman Silver Mod. Thanks for looking, Dave in LA.
