Hi everyone,

After dreaming about it on and off for 40 years I started guitar lessons at the beginning of this year with the Yamaha Pacifica that I bought 2nd hand for that purpose 15 years ago!

Since a guitar with a 9.5” fretboard radius feels much better I’ve just bought a very affordable non-Fender Tele-clone.

My musical interest (and dot on the horizon) is Rockabilly and ‘50’s RnB.

Cheers,
Erik.

From the Old Country, Holland. Although the Pennsylvania Dutch are predominantly from what is now Germany, aren’t they?
As far as I've been able to gather, virtually every American usage of 'Dutch' actually references something German, rather than from the Netherlands.

Welcome aboard from another stateside member. You're from one of those places I've only read about. My wife and I have made many long term friends online who live across Europe with Joost, (from the band Hunter), and his wife Wendy living in Belgium and probably the closest to you. Patrice and his family in northern France. Our buddy Janne Stark, (in the band Mountain of Power), up in Sweden and a slew of others. Most are pretty heavy into Metal. So .... I'm assuming, (because of your musical tastes), that Holland must be situated closer to Tennessee.
