    Hello, and welcome.
Yes, at some point, your ear, your mind, and your fingers will make a connection.
Play everyday. Listen intently to what your playing. Play a note, and try to sing that note. That will help to develop your ear.
The whole process is a journey. Enjoy it for that!

Hello and welcome. I have seen many players over the years begin their quest on guitars.
I have seen far more quit than stuck with it.
Like everything in life the more you do it the better you will get.
Just like sports no matter how hard you try you probably aren’t going to be Lebron James. Some people have more ability than others.
I feel like a lot of people quit when they realize they aren’t the next Hendrix.
You don’t have to be as good as your guitar hero’s to have a good time.
There’s no level, time or lesson that you need, find what works for you and go with that. Some prefer lessons and sheet music, some can’t do that and maintain focus.
If you love playing, in time you will be rewarded 100% guaranteed.

Hey, brother. Cool. So, guitar! NOT like electronics. You can't intellectualize learning guitar.
Guitar is like basketball. You need the physical practice, the movements. Reflexes have to be honed. You need stamina, muscle memory, and you have to practice dribbling and lay-ups. Moves have to be smooth.

Sure, there's thinking. Know the rules, memorize the plays. But without the physical development and skill, forget it, man ... game over.
