Aw...I thought this was about beer...
not nearly so cool, but here's mine....
Stella didn't think he was a contender.
I preferred One-eyed Jacks.
My wife named our small pit bull Stella. Some of the neighbors got a kick out of imitating Brando. The dog didn't care.
I thought about that scene in animal house
Oh wait...that’s Paula
Hey...hey Paula....I want to marry you.. hey hey Paula...
I guess Stella could be a substitute
My first playable guitar was a Stella.
It was a used red and black 000 size, and cost $25.00, in 1968.
I learned my first chords on it.
Gloria by Them, and later, House Of The Rising Sun, with it's dreaded F chord.
Thanks for reminding me!
He should have just tried the phone.
I play this song as a solo acoustic instrumental.
Love this melancholy melody.- plus just the challenge to get thru it w/o any ( major) flubs
I'm a lab lover, so I'm a fan of this Stella:
I only knew one Stella in my whole lifetime. She was the daughter of an old man who somehow married a very young woman. The old man died when she was very young but she remembered him. When she was a child, she seemed like she came from somewhere back in time. She would have fit right in a school house in about 1875, or at least that's what I always thought.
Fate would cause us to cross paths many, many years later. I was doing business with a large concern way out west of Bakersfield, and one day I walked into the office and there set Stella, she was a purchasing agent! I enjoyed our brief visits when I would come out to do business with her. They were short visits, she was all business, but she always enjoyed a story about her dad. My work load in and around Bakersfield became so demanding that I turned that account over to one of our other sales guys, and I don't know what became of Stella after that. It's odd how people come into, and go out of our lives.
