    Too cool!
Should have bought one when they were cheap and plentiful.

Yep. Those are pretty cool. Does anyone know or remember the street price of those things when they were still in production?

I have a Bronco bass too, but I've modded it a bit

The bass was $199 back in 2004-2005 and there was no case or things that went with bass. The guitar had a black gig back with pink Hello Kitty graphics and a Kitty strap and Kitty picks. I think the guitar set with the extra goodies was $279.

It was weird when one of the sales guys brought the guitar out from the back. There was a lot of smiling and cracking up as it was carried to the counter near the door. I got out the door with most of my dignity in tact.

There is another company offering the Hello Kitty guitars now but it's not Fender. The brand new renditions have hot pink fret markers (not black like Fender/Squier).

How did I miss this thread? Here's my Hello Kitty ensemble. Still looking for a gig bag. I put in a Seymour Duncan P-Rails and a series/parallel switch. It's not a bad little guitar now and has a nice-playing neck, but I will always hate that headstock.

I bought a pink one a while ago for kitch value, but was surprised at how well it plays. I guess since it has so few parts to be a problem. Neck is fantastic. Should have bought three when they were being blown out for $99.
