I didn't notice your age... just realize Teles are like rabbits, they multiply. I played Gibsons for most of my life, didn't get my first Tele till I was in my late 50s. Now no more Gibsons, but I have 6 Teles. Like I said, they multiply. :D

    Enjoy that guitar.

Here's my family. The LP and the new build it inspired are my # 1's. I don't play the LP out much anymore - too fragile now - but it's the on I would save first in a fire. The walnut one is my #1 player.

The Teles are my first two builds. Love 'em, especially the walnut "thinline custom" one. The Strat and Tacoma don't get much play time, but when I need one of them, I NEED one of them. This is the only Strat I've ever bonded with and that acoustic has been through a lot of miles with me.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I sold two Gibson Les Pauls and bought this Custom Shop R8. It’s supposed to be a true representation of a 1958 Les Paul. I love it and now I have GAS to buy a Gold Top Les Paul Custom Shop R7 (1957 RI) to go with it.
