Help! What tele model is this thing?

Hello all,

brand new to the forum. Please remove if not allowed.

I just bought my first tele 2nd hand and couldn’t figure out what model it is. I believe may be an American special, but idk much about teles. I only suspect an special because it has a color matched headstock. Any help would be surely appreciated. It is a 2017-2018.

I don't remember the American special having a painted headstock, but I could be wrong

I believe that Fender has a link on their web site where you can enter the S/N and it will give you the details about your guitar.

Fender does painted headstocks sometimes, and with their many limited runs, a simple rule like 'they don't have painted headstocks' isn't helpful to use.

Yep - Fender did runs of matching headstock American Special Teles and Strats for American Musical Supply (and I think that zZounds is part of AMS so they got them too - I think). So it's all the normal specs of an American Special Tele with the matching headstock added.
