i think it’s from 2000, but not sure. Pretty solid little axe though. Judging from the wear on the fretboard, I’m thinking it’s a player. (I know I know, it’s not a Tele lol)

Well it's a Squier neck. Not sure about that hardtail bridge, and gold hardware.

    .

Looks like the printing will say "Affinity", which is my guess for the overall model.

C = China, Y = Yako (Taiwan), 2005 model year, September, late in the production run.

There are significant mods on this guitar from what an Affinity would have gotten.

    -where's the body paint?
    -string through is uncharacteristic
    -roller Ts
    ...

Try getting pictures of the front of the body, inside the cavity and the back of the pickguard.

Sometimes clues in the body neck pocket and end+back of the neck heel, so pictures there too can help.

The D/G string tree is very close to the post of the A tuner

Yea I’m thinking it might be just a frankenstrat with a Squier neck

What's it play like (please don't say 'butter'), and how do the pickups sound?

Is it a full depth body?

Looks like a Squier neck on I don't know what. Doesn't look like a Strat body contour to me but what do I know.
