I have the USA Player Cub 15r (head, with a 1x12 Bad Cat cab) and I gigged it all over the place before the recent shutdown, great-sounding amp and 100% reliable so far. I wouldn't shy away from this version if the price was right -- my head was just under a grand, new. But resale will be better on the hand-wired version, I bet.
well there's only treble & bass but both have a lot of range & make immediately noticeable differences when you move the knob. I generally use them pretty much at noon & control the sound of the amp with the preamp & boost switches, which make big immediate differences, and with the cut control. Master volume doesn't affect tone much, though -- the K-master is really, really good.How versatile is the tone stack
