    Hey all,

Recently acquired a vintage fender hardshell g&g style case, but I'm not sure what Era it's from.

    Anyone have any idea?

Black Tolex, red plush lining, leather compartment pull, no made in USA on logo.

I bought a G & G case that looks like this. I bought it for my 64 AVRI Telecaster. Fender put out cases like this starting in 1964.

Looks exactly like the case my 77 Strat has.

I had two similar cases. One mid ‘70s and the other, I think, mid ‘80s. Great cases and almost bulletproof

If it's a vintage case, that logo was used 1966-1971. Is the lining red or orange?

    '67–'71, approximately.

Tail under the logo, no ® on the logo – only used those years.

Unless you have a year-matching guitar to put in it, or plan on getting one, you should sell it. Someone out there wants one, and will pay good money for one, for their '67–'71 Fender far more than you need it to house any old guitar.

    More orange than red.
