Torn between the 5watt 1605R, 64 reverb reissue or a used 6/14watt Comet.
Looking for something that has a decent reverb and that’ll stay somewhat clean at lower volume living room jam sessions.

Hey, I like AC15s! but you will want to replace the reverb tank. I would respond to the Supro question but I've never even seen any of this amps, much less played through them. Orange Rocker 15 is also a nice amp, a lot lighter than an AC15 and good-sounding but you'll need a reverb pedal.

THey have been making some exception stuff.

If it is just a living room you should be ok with headroom.
If you have a drummer you need the higher wattage.
imho

I have a Supro Delta King 12 and the reverb on it is great. Not quite Fender great but very nice, at least up until about 4 on the dial. It has built in boost and OD and a master volume so you can get lots of tonal options at lower volumes. Giggable at a loud 15 watts. Just something to consider.

I have an old 1606 (5 watt) one-knob and it doesn’t stay clean into any kind of band volume. By the time it’ll keep up with a semi-quiet drummer it’s into breakup. The breakup to cranked tones are great and what these little beasts are known for.
