Help me choose the right strap with surf green tele (poll inside)

Hi.

Unlike @stylemessiah above, I think style is really important.

To the player.

We’re visual creatures, and a good looking guitar (or, whatever) attracts us to use it.

I don’t like the look of any of the options shown. That’s just me of course.

I’d also argue against any kind of green strap - exactly the same colour and it is all too samey, but not an exact match and it is ‘off’ somehow. Damned either way.

Personally, I’d find something completely different, but complementary.

That’s my pick. Black always works. Saying that, I’m probably too set in my ways.

Finding the right color combo is good but color is not my strong suit. Black straps everywhere for me, matches everything.

My vote would be for a Fender 2" Road Worn Brown Leather strap.
Don't have a picture with my Surf Green Tele, but it went well.

I just got a new AVII ‘63 surf green tele and picked up a Fender shell pink strap, and I also have a DiMarzio strap that’s a coral color. They both go great with the guitar but that coral really pops. Good luck!

You can go a few different ways. Some of these are off the beaten path, but who wants the same stuff everybody else has?

Tan? Meh.

The gray works (looks a little blueish on my screen). I think a dark red or dark brown would be best.

Gray? A multi color strap is needed, you’ll have to look around.
