The tan matches the fretboard/neck. The white matches the pickguard (unless it's a mint green pickguard & I just can't discern that from the photo). The grey being neutral is like a driftwood grey. I voted tan.
Then there were the other suggestions, teal, teal & white, the tweed. I think a shell pink or coral pink would work. Then there's always basic black.
Sorry to hear that. The nylon one might be more comfortable...This one is great ... but cannot find it nowhere, even online, accessible from Europe.

In that case I'd go with a shell pink, coral, orange or black strap. I'm a heavier gauge seatbelt strap preference for material. Might even consider a mint aqua for that too ? Availability might influence a path of least resistance.The pick guard is mint green...

I also have the surf green case, which is ironically more green than the guitar.
I mean, they look good to the casual observer, but I am not a casual observer.
