Help me choose the right strap with surf green tele (poll inside)

Hello,

I have some difficulties to find the appropriate strap color with my new Vintera Modified Telecaster.
Surf green color is very cool... but difficult to associate.

I got 3 straps at home... and plan to use one of these 3 with this guitar (I don't want to buy another strap).

Can you give me your option based on those 3 pictures and using the poll ? Thanks in advance.


First option: a Tan cotton strap, made by Levy's Leather. Classical and confortable.

Second option: a nylon "cotton feel" grey strap, made by D'Addario. Association between a 50's color and a model grey, don't look bad.

Third option: it is the same strap made by Levy's leather as the first option but with natural cotton color instead of tan.

The gray works (looks a little blueish on my screen). I think a dark red or dark brown would be best.

I'm going off the reservation on this.

If you're playing a surf green guitar, you need an appropriately surfy strap. This one is a Franklin brand. Super soft leather.

There are other brands that offer surf green straps.

You are right, the grey strap is a little blueish in real life too.

I don't love the flat-look cotton weave straps with that classic color. I'd prefer something with some sheen - either jacquard weave or pleather/leather.

I also sort of love this gretsch stap but if the green isn't a perfect match it would bother me.

I think the natural cotton looks best, but I'm guessing it'll start looking dirty pretty quick. Voted for the grey.

I voted for Tan because complements the neck color.

I use the Levy's 2" cotton straps on all my guitars. I have three in the natural color, one of those with a graphic on it. Also have tan, black, and two 3" brown. The natural color compliments my guitars with light-colored bodies or cream bindings really well.
