I'm currently living in Seoul and found a used Telecaster which seems interesting.
Apparently, the seller is saying the body is an American Fender body and the neck is a Made in Japan Fender neck. (legit body and neck according to him)

    Texas special PUPs, Gotoh headmachine.

But something about it looks off especially the body shape and the stamps in the neck pocket and the neck heel. Is this really a Fender or is the seller scamming?

It's just wrong, somebody is trying much too hard to make you believe it's something it's not. Leave it alone.

If you were able to try it in person and it was less than $200, maybe.

No such thing as CS Japanese neck for one. I’ve never seen Crafted in USA on anything. El Fako.

I'm more in the camp that says we should NEVER sponsor the sale of fake guitars.
