Hey, thanks for reading. I dropped an old 12” speaker in a slightly rebuilt Garnet cab. I’m trying to identify the speaker before wiring it up. Any ideas?
    Thanks

It's hard to read the numbered code on the magnet. Can you read it and post what it says?

the number on the magnet is c91240211. The cone number seems to be CD12419

I don't see anything in the USA EIA code data base that matches those numbers. The speaker may be of a foreign origin; maybe Asian.

interesting. Another person told me that it may be a Peavey as they didn’t always use the EIA codes?

I don't think Peavey made their own speakers. I've seen their amps with CTS and Eminence speakers and a Peavey decal on the magnet. An exception may be the Scorpion series, but I'm not sure. Could it be a Canadian mfg? Garnet and Traynor used Marsland speakers but that doesn't look like one of theirs.
