Hi !

I’m considering buying what seems to be an ‘03 AVRI ‘52 Telecaster reissue. Unfortunately the 5 digit serial # cannot be found on the Fender serial finder.

It’s a long drive from my house to go see it and potentially buy it so wanted to get some sort of approval from the good people at TDPRI !

The seller has kindly removed the neck to provide pictures…

Also, what kind of neck profile should I expect ?

The hunt for a Fender can be a lot of fun.
I cannot clearly see the number on the bridge plate.
I do know that serial number reference resources can be imperfect.
I would type the number into your next post in this thread. Is that a serial no. or the patent number?
One of our resident experts will have good info for you.
It looks promising to me.
Have fun with the process.

I have an AVRI '52 I call "Uncle Sam", as it was made July 3, 2001, so it is fairly close in age to the guitar you are considering. It has what I would call a medium "C" type of profile. A very nice profile, I might add!

The part codes on the neck (53779) and in the neck pocket (18354) are correct as shown on RU Experienced images.
