    Hi everyone -

I just picked up a loaded Telecaster body, as I'm putting together a partscaster for a friend. The bridge pickup is a Peter Florance Voodoo TE62, but the neck pickup merely says "Crook" on it. It measures 7.73kΩ on my multimeter. Any idea of more specifics? Is this perhaps a Florance-made proprietary pickup for Bill Crook?

Ones on his site are referred to as "APC neck pickup" which I know isn't much help.

On the Peter Florence site there is only one neck shown in his products. It is described as measuring 8K.
Usually that is measured at 70 degrees F and even if compared at that there can be + or - deviation.
One would think he could use a larger photo of it or even show more than one photo.

Likely a Florence. Maybe a Lindy Fralin. It’s not a APC.

Thanks for the replies. Some time ago, I updated what I found out from Bill Crook and Peter Florance and posted here, but the posts are gone. So here it is again: Peter Florance told me that it's an A5 neck pickup that he makes exclusively for Bill Crook. He calls it the "Crook Tele neck" pickup. I think it sounds fantastic.
