Which of the 3 color would you pick with a maple finger board and swamp ash body?

    Pink.
    Pink is the correct choice.
Whaddya mean pink isn't an option?

Of you choices, the green one. Experiment with 'guards too. Mint, parchment, single ply white, white-black-white, whatever floats your boat.

    Or pink.

Yep, given Shell Pink is not an option, I think any of those choices are pretty solid. I'd go with Shoreline Gold personally.

    Does it matter?

    Choose whichever plays the best.

There are only two proper Fender colours.

Turd brown sunburst and baby poo yellow.

I have many alder body guitars and like to try something different. Those are the only 3 colors that i'm interested in. So which of the 3 colors would you pick on a swamp ash body and maple fb?

Those are all good color choices. Really, anything that’s not sunburst, black, or white gets my vote. Anything is better than those three.

If is ash, personally I think the grain should show. Limited to the colors given, gold.

I would definitely go for a 2-tone sunburst with a black pickguard

Early 50's butterscotch blonde. Looks good with maple or rosewood.

I recently retired from my day job of 42 years and rewarded myself by ordering a Strat from the Custom Shop. I read where Clapton recently had a few new Strats built using an Almond Green finish as that is the color of his Aston Martin. I was thinking I should order mine using the color of my ride, 2003 Toyota Tacoma Jade Green Metallic. Almost did it, but came to my senses and ordered it in Faded Sage Green Metallic. Just hope it gets here before I croak.

Butterscotch blond would have looked cool though, especially with the AAA roasted maple neck I ordered with it.

I’d go with the sage out of the 3. My guitars are all either natural, sunburst or white. But I am a sucker for sea foam green with a rosewood board.
