Hi, all. I have been logging in for a couple of days now, and have found this to be a quite useful link. Members have been very good at giving me hints about the questions that I have raised. And there's a lot of good humoured posts too. I'm now a TDPRI "frequent flyer".

Now, a little about me. I'm primarely a drummer but have been playing guitars for the past 50 years or so. I'm not a country music player (do not have the skills) but I like the telecaster shape and feel. The telecasters that I own are: Fender, Tom Anderson, G&L and N.Zaganin.

My set up is meager. I use a Mesa TA-30 with an old Pearce amp transformed into a cabinet. I am not currently using any pedal. For nylon string amplification I use a Fishman Loudbox Artist.

I mostly play jazz and Brazilian music and hope to play some blues and fusion. But I have to say that I like all kinds of style if the music is good and played with a sincere feeling.

I hope to be of help to members as they have been to me.

    Abrzz.

Thanks, AussieAndrew. I am glad to have some friends from Australia -- all of them good humoured and good company (especially on a Fosters quest)..

Buenos tardis Ricardo, (probably the middle of the night in Rio, it is almost 3pm here).
Heh heh, you know about Fosters, as in beer ? [IMG]
Have you been to Australia perhaps ?
    Andrew [IMG]

PS:- Is Spanish the usual language in Brazil or is it Portuguese ?
I worked with some men from Chile for few years so I know a little (limited) Spanish.
You obviously know English well [IMG]

Hi, Aussie Andrew. Sorry to take so long to answer. A Chilean friend introduced me to Fosters saying that "that's an excellent beer that comes in an oil can..." An he was right, indeed!

Never been to Australia, but I have plans to go and visit with some friends.

We speak Portuguese here in Brazil. That's one of the reasons why we remained isolated from the rest of Latin America for so long, even though we share the same Iberic ancestry.

Thanks for the compliment. My English proficiency (wow!) comes from working in Washington DC for about five years. Me and my colleagues (who came from several parts of the World) would try to speak an imbroglio of languages just for the fun of it...

    Abrzz.
