    Hello

New login in here. Been playing guitar & bass for many years, started in my teens and now I'm well on the grey side of 50! Mainly I play bass these days and my regular gigs of the past few years have kept me in the bassists role; but I enjoy guitar and have been recently considering one of Leo's other creations, a G&L ASAT Special.

Two of my basses are G&L's, and I genrally seem to enjoy Leo's creations, as I have a Fender Aerodyne and a StingRay 5 string bass as well.

Musically I enjoy classic rock, Alt-Rock, old country & the the whole "outlaw country" genre fits my tastes nicely. Was blown away when I first saw Sturgill Simpson's videos with Laur Joamets on his custom tele creation. I listen to allot of blues & Grateful Dead as well.

    Greetings citizen,
Is it true the Jersey Devil lives in the forest near Shamong?

I'm from Medford. Went to Shawnee when it was new. Did you ever see Guy Petersen play locally?

Aye - the ghost of Mary Leeds roams these parts at night. I live out near the edge of Wharton Forest, its quiet at night, but when there are nights when there's no moon and only stars - you will hear things out here !

Mostly its kids in a quad runner - but there are other times......

There's a local bluegrass group that plays often over at Albert Hall that goes by the name of "What Exit" You've gotta spend time in Jersey to understand that one. :)

Cant say that I have. Not originally from down here. Grew up in PA, and lived in East Brunswick for 28 years after my US Navy stint. Moved to Burlington County 2 years ago, just before COVID hit. We were still getting settled into the new house and unpacking things when the lockdown struck, so I haven't had much opportunity to get out and explore the local music scene. I've been a church musician for over 20 years now, as well as playing coffee houses & open mics, so getting into a local church band down here was easy and it kept me playing through Lockdown (only out for about 4 months).

Once they find out you can hold down solid bass lines, you kinda get pegged into it though; but its a role I enjoy.
