Was a repairman on all stringed musical instruments and recently became a semi-retired repairman. Still enjoy guitar repairs and trying my hand at rewinding pickups. The pickup rewinding is harder to learn the nuances of than the physical repair apprenticeship was. It is fun though.

Welcome to the forum. And congratulations. You already know more as a newcomer here than I will know when I croak and they pull the feeler gauges from my cold dead hands 🙂
