Welcome. Nice collection.
It's an old pic, I have another tele style that wasn't around at the time I took the pic, It's a G&L Bluesboy Trib I picked up this spring. My wife isn't as happy about all the "look alike" guitars (her words). but she is still with me after 30+ years so I'm prolly safe... prolly.

I'm writing this post in the morning, so I'll say good morning - but to those who read it later, good day.

I'm new to the forum, but not new to Fender, or to Telecasters or to guitars in general. I've been playing for 40 years. I love the Blues, from John Cotton to SRV, I like Southern Rock, a bunch of 80s tunes, and anything from Led Zep or Pink Floyd or Hendrix. That being said, I've aged into appreciating all kinds of music, yet when it comes to playing, I like sticking with the songs and players I loved growing up. I've written a few songs over the years, but mostly I've focused on just playing. I play in church every Sunday with a great group of musicians.

I've bought and sold dozens of guitars over the years, but I only have one Fender Telecaster (Don't let the MJT relic'd Esquire on the left in the photo below fool you). The Fender Select Tele on the right is my only Fender Tele. I didn't have a pic of the Koa Top by itself, so I tossed this one up - I hope that doesn't offend anyone.

I am on a few other forums under different pseudonyms. I've been lurking for a few years and this morning I decided to join.

As they say in Japan, upon introducing yourself to a new group: Dan desu. Dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu (I'm Dan, please treat me kindly). I'm not Japanese, but I admire a classy intro..

Greetings, Dan!

Despite what you see, I’m not a Dan. That’s all a lie. I am, however, a former Winnipegger and Dust Rhinos fan. My avatar pic was taken on the front steps of the Big House at Lower Fort Garry when I was the Governor of the Northern Department of Rupert’s Land back in 1851.
