    I am sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.
    I am a Croat, currently living in Slovenia.
    I travel between these two countries.
    Anyhowz, I always had a great love for country music, and after decades of playing rock, I got a tele, and decided I shall learn some country licks.
    It appears this is "the place" for it.

    A big welcome from the UK.

    I love my trips to Croatia. Such a beautiful country. I've visited Dubrovnik and Split many times, but it is the smaller places that appeal to me. Zadar, Rijeka and the amazing Krka Falls.

    Go to Šibenik. It is a hidden gem. As beautifull as Dubrovnik and less crowded. Oh, and Plitvice, it is a must see.

    Welcome. I forget that Croatia is just on the other side of Italy. Here in a town close to me named San Pedro there is significant Croatian ex-pat community.

    Welcome from Chicago, USA! I'm doing the same thing--trying to learn some country after playing for a long time. A Tele isn't required, but it helps! I have a Strat wired to give me neck and bridge pickups together, and that gives a good country tone as well. Enjoy learning some new locks.
