    Hi All,

New member from Canada. For years I never considered the Tele, as I always associated with certain music genres. I got watching lots of videos on YouTube of amazing players all loving teles (Danish Pete, That Pedal Show, etc...)

I picked up a mint condition limited run American Special in Surf Green and was hooked. I recently acquired a Made in Japan Heritage Teleacster 60’s Custom. Also really great quality.

I’ve always check this site to get info on teles. Glad to finally join.

The Texas Special pickups are so punchy and full sounding. Can’t get enough of them. I know teles are traditionally all about the bridge pickup, but the TS neck pickup is my fav clean sound.

    Welcome, and where in Canada?

That's kind of like saying you're from the upper northwestern hemisphere...;)

Welcome to the forum! Those are fine-looking examples, I am a sucker for MIJ and bound bodies; enjoy.

I bought the Japanese Heritage because I loved the double-bound body and vintage look. I had the intention of selling the American Special to fund the new one, but in a side by side comparison, they’re both good in their own ways, and different enough to warrant keeping both :D

Keeping it simple....I’m running into a Hughes & Kettner Grandmeister 40 with a Seymour Duncan Dark Sun as my reverb/delay, and a Strymon Riverside multi-stage drive pedal.

Welcome! Now you're catching on. Why sell a guitar when you can just add another one?
