Well, I'm back. Out of the hospital and only slightly worse for wear.

They didn't have to do surgery but they had to keep me in to watch for any indications that they might have to. Regular CT scans to make sure the brain bleed wasn't worsening and was actually diminishing, which they determined it was. I now have my very own workout equipment set up in the living room so I can do my daily exercises. They still don't have a clue why I was blacking out so I can't drive yet and that's ok as I can barely walk upright. My legs aren't doing the best anymore. My family dr will be directing my recovery and I see him on Wednesday. My new glasses will be ready in a week or so. I'm attaching an artsy photo of the ones I was wearing when I blacked out. I also fell this morning at home, but didn't lose consciousness. Might have broken a finger, but I'm right handed so that's fine. I don't need it to play.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts, mojo and prayers from everyone. It was all good!

VERY glad to hear from you, and also very happy that things are going relatively well! Keep up the good fight, and never lose your sense of humor.

Glad also to hear you are doing well. Keep doing what the Drs say.

P.S. You should get that photo framed. :)

Could this “brain bleed” you speak of be the black out culprit?

Or was that the result of the fall?

    Glad you’re out

Thanks. Unfortunately, that’s what they can’t determine. I have had a previous brain bleed and subsequent surgery, so who knows? Now we just have to watch it.

After they check for the brain bleed, don't be surprised if somebody suggests a look at your heart valves (plaque build up).
A bud dropped like a sack of potatoes after walking up a minor incline.
Heart scan revealed 82% obstruction - wth???
Post "new valve surgery" his cheeks were noticeably pinker.

Hoping your rehab is orderly and the recommended next-step work for you.
    Peace - Deeve
