Now I just have to learn what to do with that weird shaped wooden thing with those 6 wires on it. LOL!!!
Have a pair of $50 Sony noise cancelling headphones that I plug into my Ipod when I cut the lawn, really cuts down on external noise so I can hear my Barry Manilow songs in peace....

A hearty +1 on Head-Fi. A word of warning though. You can (or at least I can) get sucked into collecting good-sounding budget headphones and IEMs. Very good info from the membership there.
Disclaimer: Everyone's ears, music and taste in sound is perceived
differently. Having said that, after the adventure began - sometime in late April I went on a hunt for some new headphones.
I tried all sorts of things from $75 to about $250, and for me the winner was:
At a price of now $71 they just can't be beat.
Open back = better sound staging. SHP9500
They beat out a lot of competition costing 2 or 3 times as much.
