The F Passport is a bit weak on the vocal amplification.
EHX Headphone amp
I just used the guitar amps. Just play over the music.
I ordered a used Boss GT-1 off ebay. Thanks guys.
I really like the ipad / Positive Grid stuff too.
Whatever that is it's beautiful!
It’s a Hotone Mojo Diamond mini-amp, it models a Fender amp.
Mojo Diamond is the newest member of the Nano line.
It is a 5w Class AB guitar amplifier head inspired by legendary Fender Tweed*.
Like the original Tweeds, Mojo Diamond has a tiny body and loud, sweet sound.
With the 3-band EQ, Volume and Gain control, you can easily create some shining sound that makes you stand out from others everywhere!”
I have a Hotone Captain Sunset mini amp that I got used from eBay, but it crapped out on me.
I really liked it while it lasted, tho.
Can’t beat the Pocket POD with aux input. Combined with an iPad and slow-downer software it’s given me endless hours of quiet practice time.
Depends on what you are after. When I have traveled, I usually use an Apogee One into my iPhone or iPad and use the amps in Garage Band. That is just for practice, and I don’t expect to use it for recording anything. But for the purpose of just being able to play during trips, it works great.
I’m sure the other suggestions here are good as well. And some are more versatile. but just for practice, the One (or the iRig) are hard to beat.
Throwing my vote in for the Yamaha THD-10II. I have had one in Japan now for months and its grown on me. I can bluetooth my phone or iPad through its separate Aux channel and play along. Hell, it make a good stereo too! It’s in this pick of my hotel room in the back ground on the dresser above the strat.
