I think it’s great. It’s well written, well directed, and well acted. For once. There’s so much junk out there now.

Every episode is like one of the best episodes of the early Walking Dead so far, but with less zombie fighting. Which is fine. I can watch a George Romero if all I want is zombie fights.

The best episodes were about the human drama, and that’s what we have here.
Glad to read this. It's made here in Alberta. I haven't started watching it yet and I've been hoping it's good.

Yeah, I watched it. I wasn't very impressed. The story makes no sense. The premise suggests that there was this zombie apocalypse in 2003. Of course, there wasn't. They then move to the year 2023, with the aftermath of the earlier events. It just isn't believable.
Its fictional. Its not a docu-drama lol

What about Alien and Predator and any other monster movie or space movie? Or space monster movie lol? Those are?

I dunno man, I get where he's coming from. Gilligan's Island, Scooby Doo, My Favorite Martian, etc.... those are all far more believable!

The book is very good and worth a read, but the HBO miniseries was the rare case of the show being just as good if not maybe a little better than the book.

I couldn't get into the series for some reason, but several people I know who are avid readers, and liked the book, did indeed rave about the TV show!

I've been watching. I read a lot of dystopian fiction, as a kid but I never watch horror/zombie movies and I'm not a gamer.
I applaud the writers, for taking their time to tell the love story, in episode three. I am not a romantic type, however- and I found it a bit predictable and sickly-sweet.
Bella Ramsey continues to steal scenes, in everything she does. A great young talent. Pedro Pascal, likewise, exudes gravitas.

I hope this series improves. Perhaps it was the factual source material but I thought Chernobyl was really outstanding TV- and this show is not in that league.

Video game ?

I was stunned when I found out the John Wick franchise was not based on a video game .

Until I thought a little more and realized those movies are all just video games.

Man that last episode was so incredibly sad but well done. I really feel connected to the story: the hopelessness and sadness of the situation seems so real. And yet the human spirit survives, carrying them through--tragedy after tragedy.

The infected's attack on them seemed over the top impossible to have survived... but I'll let it slide.

I expected to see "I love you" or something like that written on the magic slate. What she wrote was just so heartbreaking. And yet, she immediately tells the grown man, "let's go" knowing they must proceed with the task at hand. Wow.

Loving this series.
