I’ve seen a couple that I thought were great, on You Tube there’s a newish one from Sam Morril that is killer, and on HBO there one that includes some killer singing/guitar playing/song writing by a guy named Whitmer Thomas. There’s another one on YouTube I liked by a comedian called Emily Heller.

just in case anyone’s looking for something to watch...

Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones, only on Netflix

Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

    Yeah.

I stood up too fast after sitting down for too long, and saw the dog getting out of the way before my crampy legs toppled me upon him. If he were a mean human instead of a good dog, he would have laughed at me, as much as I laughed at myself.

Then I went for a walk--all the way to the kitchen--and wondered how "normal" normal will be.

    I. WANT. TO. GO. TO. THE. BAR. AND. HAVE. A. BEER. AND. A. MEANINGLESS. DEBATE. ABOUT. THE. LIVE. BASEBALL. GAME. ON. THE. TV.

FWIW, as I get rottier--I mean, older--I find that standup comedy doesn't work for me nearly as well as situational comedy. Old Kramer bits on "Seinfeld," "Malcolm in the Middle," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," etc.--these reach more more than most standups. Lewis Black is funny in moderate doses.

Too much sitting on my brains, maybe....

I really like Steven Hughes from Australia. He's sort of the heir apparent of Bill Hicks.

I get a bit tired of comedians that use lots of profanity, so I've been watching Dry Bar Comedy on YouTube.

    These two were particularly good.

If you don’t like profanity then give Nate Bargatze a try, he has two shows on Netflix. And whatever you do avoid my favorite comedian Ari Shaffir’s specials.

I just learned that Louis CK has a new hour of comedy on his website that you can download for $8. It’s called Sincerely.

I would like to see it but I’m in no rush.

Me and the wife watched John Mulany on Netflix a week or so ago. Pretty funny!

I’d like to see it, but not if I have to watch it on a computer screen...I guess I could hook up HDMI to my tv...but that’s a hassle.

Do you have a Roku or similar device at home? Or a smart TV? maybe you could cast it from the computer to the TV via WiFi.

Apple TV, does casting it work for you? It’s super laggy for me...

There NSFW but I still find them funny. I watch a variety, even clean subject matter of comedians on youtube everyday. I'm looking for chuckles and laughs as I need a dose of it a little each day and have been for weeks. I've been watching those blue collar idiots too and I've seen most all of it more than once.

Have you seen Daniel Sloss? I think he’s from the UK, I think he’s a top notch comedian...but probably too dark for some people.

Netflix has a few Bert Keisher specials on. All of them are superb.

Last time I went to Wal-Mart was funnier than anything I’ve seen on YouTube.

I do like Tim Hawkins, tho.
