Yup. I have bought a bicycle (picked up at the local store), some shelving and some other stuff. No problems.

    yes.

not sure what you're getting after, asking if you're missing something.

You seem to maybe be implying the walmart prices are inflated, and, you would be incorrect, walmart knows exactly what they should charge for stuff. they have made a science of it, and created an empire/monopoly from it

I have ordered several items. Always good service. It was hilarious watching them try to figure out how to pickup 100lb weight plates. They finally agreed to just let me get them.

At least monthly...sometimes weekly. All my motor oil, filters, etc. for the vehicles. Dry storage goods like laundry detergent and bathroom supplies. Pet food. The shipping speed to my home address here is unbeatable...and it's free.

Just the opposite here; bought an item for about 50 bucks, and it didn’t work. Sent it back , got a 99-cent refund ... LOT’S of phone calls and haggling ... took names, etc., yada, yada, yada ... NEVER was resolved ... personally, I will not shop there again ...

The only problem I've had (on SEVERAL occasions) is finding a clerk when I went to the back pickup area. They seem to avoid going there. (I guess they figure they might have to work or actually help a customer)

Didn't notice the 4X but in lower description says "Price for Each 1", must be counting all 4 as one. Still almost $8 for each tip then if you throw in the 3-year protection plan your over $9 a tip

No - Walmart doesn't stock most products in their warehouse . They just dropship from another business .

I wonder if their on line employees wear jammies and fluffy slippers?

That's not the only thing on the Walmart websites I've seen at a wildly inflated price. I was looking at air compressors on Craigslist recently and some idiot had what I recognized as a $180 harbor freight compressor listed for $250, justifying the price with a link to a listing on Walmart.com... where it was priced at over $500

I assume this is just a situation with a third-party seller thinking they can mark something up outrageously and eventually they'll lure in a sucker.

The price is high because it's not sold by walmart. Walmart like amazon and bestbuy allow other vendors to use their site to sell things. I've found that if an item is sold and shipped by walmart (or amazon etc.) it's usually a good price. Here in Canada amazon can be fun to search through you find an item selling for $10 on the USA site selling for $500 on the Canadian one.

As far as Walmart's customer service is concerned the few times I've had a problem they have always given me a $10.00 voucher for my troubles.

Yep, their on line format is a bit difficult compared with say Amazon, but some things are far better priced.

Yup. This item linked appears to be
"Sold & shipped by ADVENTURER'S BAG"
So they get to set the item's price as well as shipping cost

It may never sell for what they're asking, or someone may pay extra for the convenience of not having to shop on another site if they're already placing an order with Walmart. Capitalism is a game few people win, but it doesn't hurt to know the rules.
