My older brother bought a really minty Roy Smeck Harmony hollowbody in Fire engine red back in the 80s. It was a really decent guitar. Action was really nice and low and the gold foil pickups were unique and cool sounding. The guitar was eventually badly modified and beat to hell, but it held up for a long time. Nothing bad to say about that particular guitar, but ive played a few that were hot garbage for sure...
