I'm just a formerly teenage dirt biker with no connection to riding, but as a driver I'm looking to the 'loud pipes save lives' contingent to show up in the conversation about E-motos

Quieter E-MX could maybe save the local track from encroachment of development and neighbors's complaints. Quieter street bikes seems like it could be even more dangerous than quieter cars ripping down my residential street

But will it hurt the clothing and lifestyle accessories sales?

As long as it vibrates so bad your hands are numb after an hour, and if they can rig up a speaker so it still annoys everyone within a four block radius, they'll sell like hotcakes. The clothes and add-on brightwork have to account for like 80% of HD revenue at this point. This feels sad, but really is just another in a long chain of indignities for them. I hope they figure it out. Great brand, history, love the museum in Milwaukee.
