Never played this model or brand. But I agree with the OP about the Wilkinson trem. I have one on an S-type (a Tradition SP-1) beater. It's one seriously smooth and intonation/pitch-respecting gizmo, indeed. I like Strat trems and Bigsby's just fine. But the Wilkinson is the best of 'em all.
I took a shot on a used Harley Benton double cut Les Paul Jr. last summer. I loved it, but the high e string was just too close to the edge of the fretboard so I passed it on. I just didn't want to deal with getting a new nut cut for it.
It was the TV model color, sort of a mustard yellow. Ironically, the guy who bought it sprayed it to look like a red mahogany LP Jr, which I always thought was a less desirable color.
I'd love to try another HB since everything else seemed rally nice about it.
