i have some neighbors that love nothing more than getting Creative with their Yards.
Halloween is my favorite holiday but we haven’t been into it since we lost McGuinn on Halloween 5 years ago.
I’m going to try again next year. This year I’m going to do the open mic/jam in a minimal costume. My heart really isn’t in to it but life must go on as should Halloween
I'm only into it a little bit.
My kids are grown and out, so I look forward to seeing the little kids come in their costumes. A few years ago we opened the door to a group of trick-or-treaters and a little boy, couldn't have been more than 6, steps into the foyer and says "I love your place!"
Poor trick or treaters may get snow tonight.
We are ready for the kids.
Keep in refrigerator and bring him out at Halloween..he likes it that way.
Happy Halloween, y’all!
I'm ready! I've got my ethically sourced chocolate. I don't want to be lectured by the trick-or-treaters about child labour in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire, like last year.
It looked more like Merry Christmas here in Chicago this morning.
Is this guy anatomically correct? Can we assume aliens have no reproductive organs?
Look under the hat
Halloween is just the holiday I pass through on my way to Thanksgiving! LOL!
Now what to dress as for tonight's gig at the VFW? I hate pulling that costume garbage together, the gear is enough right??
Suggestions for a passable, yet easy as crap costume?
Get a button down sweater, shirt with tie...keep sweater open...have a good day in the neighborhood
dark suitcoat and tie..paint on a stache and go as Morticias husband
Mrs. idjster has an art group this evening and I'm the transportation so we'll be missing the kids. Our neighbourhood is aging so we don't get many anymore anyway, but I love seeing the little ones in their costumes.
Happy Hallowe'en everyone! (If it's not out of keeping with the situation.)
My FIL died on our first anniversary and a good friend on our sixth. We started celebrating the anniversary of our first date. Then I got thrown under the bus at work on that day. Retired at 46, not so bad.
Turns out the open mic/jam got cancelled because 90% of the staff & owners have kids of trick or treat age
Big party in Gallows Bay but I’m too tired. A shower, martini, & then we’ll decided on dinner.
BTW, great costumes & decoration pix. They actually lifted my spirits. Thanks
A dear friend of mine, always does something different, every Halloween. The first pic is makeup..She's not happy, because of the heat this time of the year, in Florida. Getting the right backdrop, and lighting in the entryway..she's ready to hand out candy.
