Blues, I've pretty much got a Strat equivalent of that--surf green (actually surf pearl on my Strat) and Texas specials (although a pearly gates plus in the bridge). That Tele is beautiful! Enjoy it!

The Texas Specials really woke it up, its been the only guitar I've played since I got it set up the way i like it.
    And its Surf Green so.............
I really need a shell pink sister for it ! Yes indeed I'm man enough to play a pink Guitar !

Great looking guitar. Congrats! I usually don't care for painted head stocks but that one looks great!

Very cool. I had one just like that a few years ago. I think it had a pearled p/g on it when it left here, though. Congrats!

Man, that is exactly the color of one of those round mints you'd see in the display case at the candy store. Very cool-looking guitar. Happy Birthday!

Now for the tone cap Sprague Mylar, Orange Drop ???? both of the ones i have are .02 and both are kinda big, I have been able to get both in a Tele control cavity without too much trouble :D

Went with the NOS Mylar Sprague, I did the alligator leads thing and tried four or five different caps from .1uf, .047uf and .020uf I didn't have any .022uf
    Close enough.

Strangely enough the tiny ceramic cap that was in there was a .050uf
I had seen the cap when I swapped the pickups just didn't read the value till today.

See the dime for size reference

Putting that .020uf mylar in there was like opening another door on this guitar
The tone just keeps getting better !!!
