Ringo Starr is celebrating his 82nd birthday on July 7 by gathering in Los Angeles for his annual Peace & Love Birthday event with his family, friends, and bandmates, and sending his message out to space.
Joined by his wife Barbara Starkey along with current All Starr bandmates, Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, and Gregg Bissonette, Starr’s friends Benmont Tench, Jim Keltner, Richard Marx, Matt Sorum, Ed Begley Jr, Linda Perry, Diane Warren, Roy Jr., and Alex Orbison will also be in attendance for the birthday celebration. Langhorne Slim and Sawyer Fredericks will celebrate Starr’s music with tribute performances.
The ideal of what a perfect band member should be. Contribute what's required. Do it well. Dependability with the skill needed to pull it off. Perfect! Happy Birthday Ringo! Prayers for many more to come.
On Serious XM Beatles channel they played a demo from before Ringo joined and same song with him. I never would have guessed there would be such a difference. I'm now convinced he is a very under appreciated yet a member of the largest, most influential rock band.
