One of the best live acts I’ve ever seen. Even if you aren’t a fan, you can learn a lot by watching her interactions with a crowd. When she’s on stage all eyes and ears are on her, doesn’t matter if the crowd is 30 or 30,000, she owns it!

Always has a stellar band with her. I saw her once at Merlefest and her band was essentially Nickle Creek.

Sure, she is something of a peacemaker.
She looks great, no denying that.
And the charitable work, I suppose is cool.
She seems self-aware and has a good sense of humour.
I don't know where I'm going with this.

In the early '80s I read her biography, she's a self-made woman, always in charge of her career. One of truly great Americans.

Also, the question begs to be asked - What the hell was Jolene packin'? <vbg>
