I have a blank chassis which I have to drill to fit a Hammond 290CAX power transformer. On the Hammond website I find the following datasheet but it only shows how far apart the bolts are:

Does anyone know the exact size of the big cutout which is needed to fit the bottom of the PT?

    Thanks!

Here are 2 cutout specs for ClassicTone transformers having the same mounting centers.

Unfortunately 290CAX is a "Generic" PT so it's we can't be sure which is correct.

The first one is for Vox-style PT and the second is Fender Princeton.

Seems like you just go with the bigger cutout (1.8" x 2.2") ?
