Are there any other Hagstrom guitar fans out there? I just got my new Hagstrom Viking Deluxe Tremar semi hollow and I couldn’t be happier. The fit and finish as well as the playability is fantastic. Post pictures of your guitars if you have them!

I like Swedish models too! :D
Actually my second electric guitar in 1966 was a Hagstrom. (It replaced a Silvertone (pictured below). The Hagstrom was all white and, if I recall correctly, it was a Strat body style but with pointed (devil horn) shaped cutaways.

I would like to get a Swede model myself at some point! I like the idea of an oversized Les Paul body on a guitar. I generally play solid bodies and think that kind of guitar would get a really nice fat tone.

That is a really cool Silvertone in the picture! If you still have it today it would be a collector’s item if it is in good condition.

Sadly it's long gone. I think in came with the amp in a case. It was actually a good guitar. Who knew those Silvertones would be of value today. It served me well. I learned some early rock music like the Stones "Last Time", Spoonful's "Do You Believe in Magic" and untold number of Beatles tunes, etc

I have a 1967 Hagstrom bass. Doe that count?

I had the top of the line HJ-800 for a while. It was very decent for the price.

Don't own one, but I am a fan. A friend has a couple of Super Swedes and they are amazing - what an LP should be, IMHO.

I’ve been thinking of getting one of the 12 string Hagstrom Viking Deluxes for a little while now. Not that many places stock them in the UK though, so it’s impossible to try one out before buying.

I know who knew any of those guitars would become so valuable?! It just goes to show you if you hold on to something long enough it other people will be willing to pay good most for it!
