    ...still not 100% note for note, especially the really swinging part played over Wolf's vocals. I've only been trying for 30 years, but I'll get there.

    No offense to the OP but I'm willing to bet a crap ton of cash that even the guy that recorded it can't reproduce that note for note. It just isn't that kind of style: he's just goin' for it every time he plays it. Not a bad thing what so ever but in the vein of what Peegoo said, it's just guts in the form of music.

    Go for it. I can barely play things twice the same way but I'd be glad to have a hand full of what that cat has.

    Oh, I'm sure that probably sounded different every time it was played. It's just that part at the 2:20 mark that totally floors me every time I hear it--so outside of the beat and grooving at the same time. That's the real Willie Johnson playing on that track, who was Wolf's original guitar player.

    That ripping guitar tone is something else, too, huh?
