beauty - I'd keep it just like it is and play it. I'm no expert but I think changing things is often un-necessary

UPDATE:
Well I got the "player" 67 Deluxe Reverb back from the tech. I've learned a few things. 1:Never tell people take your time. lol. In all honesty, it didn't matter to me how long repair took, I have a lotta amps and I've owned this amp about 10 years. I bought it DOA and on the cheap also. This amp had issues: besides the expected filter cap job, several shot resistors & caps, and new power cord the power tranny was shot.
Once he fired it up for sound test found the original speaker cone had several cracks/splits on its outer edge causing sound issues. So new Weber 12F150, 8 ohm, 50w, light dope.

So this wound up being quite an expensive repair.....
Very happy with the tech. Good communication, gave me options on parts /brands/prices and spent time to test & burn in.
But now I have a Excellent sounding, playing, gig ready, quiet as a mouse 67 Deluxe Reverb Black Line Drip Edge.
Back from the dead!!!
So happy I dropped off my 67 BF Bandmaster Head for resurrection.

Yes, give those vintage player amps what they need. Fret not. Then play the heck put of 'em. Just how Leo and Co would have wanted. Enjoy it.

Glad now you have a wonderful working amp. Personally I'm all for equipment that is in good safe running condition. My vintage amps are now players and I play the heck out of them! :)

I'd be remiss in my amp nurdness if I didn't point out the logo on a drip edge should be underlined.
Once I pulled an underlined logo off a trashed Bandmaster and stuck it on a 73/74 SFSR, the improvement in tone was staggering ! Unfortunately it was needed on a 65 BFTR and the SFTR hasn't sounded the same since.
I might try a different color jewel lens. . .

Anyway glad you got the DR going !

Pretty sure the logo is original. I've found several early SF amp/cab photos on line that show and mention this early tail-less logo. I'm digging the blue/green glass too. Not sure it's original?(link removed)(link removed)(link removed)(link removed)

I had a '68 blackline drip edge Princeton Reverb that had the tail-less logo that appeared to be original. At the time, I found a Fender ad showing a bunch of blackline drip edge amps with no tails on the logos.

Very beautiful DR, keep it, get it working, and play the thing.

Also, is the little a Marshall combo a 1930 "Popular"?

I have a 1969 Marshall 1930 converted to an 18 watt.

Never new anyone else with this amp or seen another one other than on the Internet.

Agreed. Logo lost the tail '73 or '74, per Teagle/Sprung.

Scott

Fender actually had several Tail-Less Logos,

The first ones appeared in about late 1966 and was a metal cast logo
and it did not have the Registered Trademark [emoji768] on the end and had
2 screws. Piggy Back Bassmans and a few other amps had them.
They were very rare. They also used these logos on some Black Tolex Guitar cases.

In late 1967 Fender made the 2nd Tail-Less Logo and it was a bit
smaller in size and make of plastic. It also has no Registered Trademark [emoji768] on the end. This was the New Silverface Transitional Logo and had only 2 screws.

The 3rd Tail-Less Logo was in the early 1970s and this one was metal and it
has the Registered Trademark [emoji768] on the end, and has 2 screws to hold it on.(link removed)

Learn something everyday ! I thought the tail was there till 73 or there abouts.
Easy to tell the BF style has three screws so you'd probably see a hole under it. I don't see an outline in the photo from the tail though.
Interesting. :)
