I’m looking for an electric for when the world resumes to sensibility. I mean to play it in front of crowds of people who may or may not be standing side by side. Laughing, singing, hugging, sneezing, whatever.... Anyway... I wondered to myself; “what guitars, in almost fifty years, stood out?” Well... the Ibanez Artist 2663 (Iceman) was a real head turner. The cream Les Paul SG in a pawn for $650 was a looker. The newish Bicentennial Firebird 5 was fetching. The first G&L ASAT was memorable... I saw Joe Perry knock around a B.C. Rich Bich around 1980(?), red with the tail tuners. I was dumbstruck. All in all, the Ibanez, the G&L, and the B.C. Rich probably stopped my breath for a moment. Any similar guitar first sight impressions?
