I’m looking for an electric for when the world resumes to sensibility. I mean to play it in front of crowds of people who may or may not be standing side by side. Laughing, singing, hugging, sneezing, whatever....
Anyway... I wondered to myself; “what guitars, in almost fifty years, stood out?”
Well... the Ibanez Artist 2663 (Iceman) was a real head turner.
The cream Les Paul SG in a pawn for $650 was a looker.
The newish Bicentennial Firebird 5 was fetching.
The first G&L ASAT was memorable...
I saw Joe Perry knock around a B.C. Rich Bich around 1980(?), red with the tail tuners. I was dumbstruck.
All in all, the Ibanez, the G&L, and the B.C. Rich probably stopped my breath for a moment.
Any similar guitar first sight impressions?

The only guitar I ever get excited about are the original Firebird iii’s with the short vibrato and dots and binding
If I could have relations with a guitar it would be that one

Here’s one emerald city has for sale

This one made an impression and it's now in my collection.

This one never will be due to its price - 70,000 Euro. But man, is it gorgeous.

I am almost ashamed to say this, but when I was 12-13 the local guitar store had a Desert Yellow Ibanez Jem with maple fretboard and pyramid inlays and pink pickups. Still think about that guitar, but can't justify getting one.

I've only seen pics of these, so I can't imagine what this Zemaitis Antanus A24MF BK would look like in person.

I also love guitars that really have nice wood grains like koa, spalted maple, and a nice quilted maple. They might all be too pretty to play on a stage.

I never been hit with a guitar in the thoracic diaphragm, but I guess any guitar of normal size would do that.

I bought this Heritage H 550 off of Evilbay sight unseen (no pics). I was expecting a little bit of curl in the maple, but got this instead:

I remember my pulse went up when I saw one of Gil Yaron's masterpieces behind glass @ the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. @preeb - you're an Artist.

    Peace - Deeve
