Has anyone purchased a Guitarbuild Telemaster pickguard?

I want to have a clear pickguard made and need a template.

I've approached Guitarbuild and they replied:

If you have one will you make me a template please; a simple A4 tracing would be great.

    Thanks in advance. :)

I have a MIJ Offset Tele, but I suspect it’s different enough to be no use for you. Let me know if you’re interested, after you hold out for what you need :)

    Awesome!

I've got the MJT PDF and it's slightly different.

I found an online PDF for the MJT and it's not quite the same. :)

I've got an mdf template of a Tele pickguard if you want it...I don't build anymore (long long story) ...it's pretty accurate and could come in useful ?

That could prove useful. Let's agree a deal in PMs?

    Thank you. :)

@netgear69 Thank you for the template.

It's a little too big for the Guitarbuild TM.

FYI, the scale of the print out is spot on as a controlplate sits in the space perfectly.

The MJT is a better fit but doesn't hit the controlplate area correctly.

Between the two I can create a really close template and then have Jack's Instruments produce one.

I'm tempted to order one from Guitarbuild but it's a £24 investment I won't get a return on.

I appreciate the help and support. :)

Cool Pete just amend the sizes to fit, make your own £24 seems a bit much you can buy a couple of sheets of perspex on ebay for half that price
although it is a pain to cut if you are making your own just put a layer of masking tape on it it stops it melting on the blade

A quick update for those looking for a Guitarbuild pickguard but want something other than the limited selection that Guitarbuild offer.

    Get in touch with:

    https://jacksinstrumentservices.com/

They have created a CNC model of the Guitarbuild pickguard and can create a pickguard from the wide range of materials they stock.

A big thanks to @Chordophonic for loaning me his. Jack's Instruments Supplies have made me a perfect copy in clear acrylic but for now I've left the protective coating on.

    :) Peter
