    My wife works in the graphics department of a local cemetery monument company. Her job is to create, compose, and prepare the graphics that are to be sandblasted onto the stones, usually granite, that are to be installed at cemeteries.

    I was at their shop yesterday, and she showed me an interesting stone that had just been finished, and it featured a very nice image of a Gibson guitar. What they can do with this sort of thing these days is quite amazing. It's a touching personal tribute to the person who is buried there. If you run your fingers over the sandblasted image, you can barely feel it...

    There is an acoustic stone in our local cemetery. Quite beautiful.

    This is a broader view of the complete image on the stone without giving out too much information. It's a bit of an awkward composition with the asymmetrical elements of the angel and guitar having to be fitted into it as requested, but altogether, it's an impressive, touching, and beautiful piece.

    I want the Hunter S. Thompson treatment and have my ashes shot out of a cannon.

    I told the Mrs to put my ashes in the fertilizer distributor and run me out in the first row closest to the house.

    I’m going to a body farm.

    I want them to lay me face down on my old archtop or gut string.

    So then they can study my putrefying body and it’s liquefaction on an old guitar .

    Science ! :eek::confused::lol:
